Very helpful staff. I used to work at a Currys and was always pushed to aggressively up-sell and push extra warranties which always frustrated customers, but staff here seemed far more keen on just helping you find the right product for you. Easy to get to with a bus stop right outside, handy as we had to lug a big telly home with us!
It has stuff, you can buy. It might not be the stuff you want, and what help you get is largely a matter of luck. For computer supplies, components, peripherals and consumables, the shelves seem very sparsely stocked on some occasions, and what the do have often seems to have been previously opened and returned - be vigilant. If they've got it and you need it quickly and the price is okay then go ahead and buy. But you will almost invariably be able to find a better range of choices at lower cost online, which is a shame. With Maplin gone there are precious few places left for electronics and computer enthusiasts, and Currys PC World is far from a cornucopia.

Great store for all sorts of products including, books, stationery, magazines, calendars, birthday, Christmas and others cards. They also sell printers and printer inks for most of the popular makes. They sell all types of packaging materials. They used to sell DVDs and CDs, but I'm not sure they do now. And not forgetting there is a Post Office and a Bureau de Change inside on the first floor.
This branch of WHSmith is small, however it does have two floors. There is a post office on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor of WHSmith there is stairs and a lift towards the back. The post office on the upper floor has about seven counters. However sometimes there is one or two people available to serve so the que can get long. There is a WHSmith counter downstairs which sells a few books and other stationary supplies, there is also a few popular gift cards which can be bought downstairs.
