Had an amazing time at The Clink Brixton! It was a surprise belated birthday present and I didn’t know where we were going. The food was amazing, service/staff were really attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend it!
Just got back from The Clink in Brixton. Fantastic experience. Check in staff were helpful and informative. Staff in training were attentive, pleasant and very helpful, good atmosphere. Wish I could name staff. Starter, main course and dessert served. Presentation was excellent and each course left you looking forward to the next (ordered Apple Charlotte twice!!). Very good value for money whilst contributing to an excellent cause and will be going back again and again.

Great tapas here. Generous portions so only 2 to 3 maximum dishes per person required and sharing tapas dishes great fun. Service very friendly and informal. Also has a decent wine list. Very popular locally.
This was our first time coming to Bar 61 and we will definitely be coming back. We decided on a selection of tapas dishes which were all delicious, compliments to the chef! The food wasn't the only wonderful part of the experience though; the waiters were all super friendly and warm and gave us free olives to start and fruit and liqueur for afters which was a fabulous touch. We really did feel like we were on holiday in Spain. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Scrumptious food and friendly service. Three of us went on a Monday night about 6pm. One other family there with two young children when we arrived. The food was first class, and reasonable priced. The restaurant was clean and comfortable seating.Nice that you can bring your own alcoholic drinks and no corkage charged. Friendly staff. Would recommend. Will be using Eastern Cuisine again.
Me and my partner have recently moved into the area and we walk past this place on our way home from the station. We have tried a takeaway once as a tester, and it was fantastic, so we thought we would go in one day and try inside. furthermore, we were pleasantly surprised it was BYOB. We decide to try some of their new dishes that the waiter mentioned were new. I went for chicken lababdor while my partner stayed traditional and tried the korma. Both the dishes were absolutely amazing and bursting with flavour and presented well. The waiters were very polite and not too intrusive and gave great service. Unfortunately my battery died so could not take any pictures. All in all, would highly recommend to try this place!

We did takeout. The food was great. My only issue was that when we called to place our order, they were not able to receive our call since we were from USA and our phone numbers were from us. They got our call, but they could or would not answer it. I think they thought it was a prank call. Had to walk to this place and place our order in person. It was worth it since the food was excellent.
One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited especially for the price, they offer great food with good service I've been here a numerous amount of times and I can't complain the staff are very friendly and happy to help. Even when they're busy they still try to accommodate visitors. I highly recommend their Paneer it's tastes really good and one of items they have on the right menu. They're dessert menu could be improved however as it is a bit lackluster. But a nice experience.

Pizza was fine the service was friendly but really slow. The calamari to start was really chewy and the coffee was awful (for an Italian restaurant that is really bad). Decent little garden terrace
Food taste is Average, but few items are gud. lack of staff which affects service

Staff are brilliant; friendly, attentive but most of all talkative and genuine which seems improbable in London. The menu is large and has a great range of Italian dishes, always with some interesting specials such as swordfish. The atmosphere is consistently approachable, sophisticated enough but laid back, perfect for date night. Some of the tomato based pastas could do with a bit of sparkle in the sauce, but then I am a lover of extreme tastes so I should perhaps ask for extra chilli, garlic or a little something else - whoever’s serving will be glad to help and actually know what they’re talking about. I’m not normally one to write reviews, especially ardent ones, but we love this little restaurant and I’d recommend it to anyone.
Had a last minute birthday meal here yesterday. Friendly staff as always and tasty food. Had a minor issue with our order but the was resolved swiftly and professionally the waiters still had a smile on their faces.

Beautiful atmosphere and excellent food. A bit tiny but suits for a romantic or intimate first date. Good is of great quality.

Really nice cocktails. Lovely decor. I don’t understand the service charge when I had to go up to the bar and order the drinks??? Especially when it was just TWO of us and whole bar was empty. Don’t mind leaving a tip but it’s too expensive when you charge £9 for basic cocktail plus any extra for uplift in spirit and addding a fruit flavour to a cocktail. Get rid of that service charge for 2 people. However, I will base my rating on the actual drinks which was really nice. The toilets are very clean as well.
Cocktails are lovely, the atmosphere and decor is great but you only need one loud person and the acoustics means you can't hear each other. Just to note we were sitting near the bar at the front on the lower seats, so not sure what it was like at the back of the bar. Will be going back.

One of those surprising little gems. I found on a random day out whilst hungry. Food is amazing and served quickly. Really small but really nice.
Went to Mrs Wongs for the first time yesterday. Food excellent and lots of it too. They let us take our leftovers home. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back and/or ordering takeaway.

The best Chinese food !!!..... Been commingled here for over 20 years !!!..... I use Hap Lee as a benchmark for all Chinese restaurants I go to. Their garlic steamed prawns are out of this world, ask for their chopped green chillies also !!!!!..... Simply heavenly combo !!!
One of the best quality Chinese food restaurants you will ever find in London.

Very good halal authentic Chinese food. None of this fusion rubbish. Prices are reasonable as well and you get good size portions. Home delivery service is very poor. Made an order at 9.45pm and was told the did would arrive by 10.30pm. By 11pm there was still no sign of the food and as they close at 11pm no one answered the phone to give me an update. I assumed the food wasn't coming so made alternative arrangements. At 11.30pm there's a knock at the door. Delivery driver says it's not his fault as he was the only driver working that night and my delivery was the last of 4. Took the delivery, food was cold. Not impressed.
Not bad plates need a bit touching up and tables need modernisation but overall generally good on the portions

Vegan cafe. Home cooked dishes, full of flavour and very nutritious. Perfect place for anybody with specific dietary requirements. They do a discount on the price of main dishes at lunch time, not sure if this is week days only or at the weekends also I shall find out next time I visit and update this information. Yes, definitely going back again!
The Wholefood Cafe really is a superb and homely vegetarian & vegan restaurant with a great menu and friendly staff. They’ve also provided me with delicious food for parties that everyone loved and have no problem coming up with ideas to cater for those with specific food allergies or requirements. Well worth a visit!!

Delicious food. Nutritious and tasty. Good prices too and lovely people!
Inexpensive, fast, and filling. The lady who works there is a delight.

Nice food fair priced. Fresh cut potato fries are really NICE! Juices and cocktails not bad! Outdoor area for eating in nice weather.
I grabbed takeaway from here last night: the caponata and mushroom pate. The service is friendly and I appreciated a staff member hunting for an extra plastic bag for me to carry my takeaway items as they had run out of brown bags. The caponata is delicious: a really great mix of stewed veg in olive oil and other seasonings. My one gripe is the toasted bread that came with it was bland and should have been the same as that came with the pate: a thickly and tasty brown sourdough. The pate is just odd: it’s an INCREDIBLY powerful taste of mushroom and granted, this is coming from someone who loved mushrooms. I can only have it in small doses and I don’t see how someone can finish the whole serving.

Decent pub with a pretty good selection of beers on tap. Peckham Pilsner's a nice pint. Big pub with a bit of outdoor seating at the front. Lots of groups on my visit, seemed to accommodate them well. Friendly staff. Very much in keeping with the current vibe of the area which is reflected in the clientele, beer selection & pricing.
Decent pub right next to the park. Good sized beer garden, good selection of beers and they also brew their own also which are nice. The bar staff are friendly.

Cosy community pub, with fab garden. Good selection of beers and ales at reasonable prices. BBQ available on selected days during summer months, plus there's a function room available for hire for that all important party!!
Lovely old fashioned London pub run by a really super couple. Has an absolutely gorgeous garden which is a real sun trap. Fantastic BBQs is summer, and often run themed parties to celebrate holidays/major events.

One of the best pubs I have ever been to! They keep all the energy and traditionalism of an old school pub and make it contemporary! I couldn’t fault anything with this place! Great service every time I have been there! The staff remember your face and treat you like a local! They are so friendly and welcoming and the lady in charge of the restaurant is an asset! I love this pub and I will always be coming in here on my way through abbeville! I have voted for this pub to win many of awards!
A gorgeous pub in a lovely area with a really nice vibe. The atmosphere is great and the food is generally very good though the ham hock croquettes were a little stodgy and tasted a tad oily. Still the burger was high quality and the service was friendly and efficient. Everything seemed clean and well managed. I only keep back a star - and I'm in two minds about it - because there was a stool already outside which I decided to rest on for five minutes in the heat and a lad from the bar was a bit rude and told me off for sitting on it. "Mate you can't take chairs from the bar." Me: "Mate it was already out here" He apologised but still took it (nobody was waiting for a stool at the empty bar inside) and people were looking at me like I'd just slapped an orphan. It would have been courteous to wait till I moved and quietly bring the stool in rather than confronting me like a bar goblin. Stoolgate was a small thing but it made me feel a bit embarrassed and uncomfortable. Still I'll be back for a lovely pint in a lovely pub.
